Your skin is your largest organ and is responsible for protecting the rest of your body from outside elements and invasive pathogens. In other words keeping your skin healthy (+ glowing) is important.

So let’s dive into some of the oils that works great on your skin. Here are 9 of them:

LAVENDER with healing and restoring properties. Helps restore scars and other skin irregularities and problems.

TEA TREE has anti bacterial properties which works great as a skin cleanser + beautifies the skin. Tea Tree reduces the appearance of blemishes. Some also put tea tree directly on pimples to dry them out. Tea tree also works great on feet and toenails, because it maintains the appearance of healthy skin.

COPOIBA with it’s warm and woodsy scent Copoiba reduces blemishes and leaves skin healthy and beautifully soft. As a general rule of thumb Copoiba deepens the effect of the other oils.

ROSEMARY is a great skin smoother and puffiness reducer. Rosemary also works great for more oily skin. Rosemary also works with Frankincense, Tea Tree, Manuka and other oils to fight blemishes.

FRANKINCENSE protects, tones and encourages skin regeneration. Frank also fades and heal scars + reduse fine lines and wrinkles. Frank is known as liquid gold, which gives your skin a radiant glow.

ELEMI some also call it Frankincense’s less expensive & sweeter smelling cousin. Gives your skin glow & helps even your skin tone just like Frank. A lil’ fun fact about Elemi is that it’s in the same botanical family as Frankincense and Myrrh, which comes from the Philippines and can grow up to 30 meters (100f). Elemi is described as smelling floral with a hint of lemon.

CEDARWOOD gives a youthful glow. Cedarwood is good as a soothing addition to your exfoliater and supports healthy looking skin.

WINTERGREEN use on a q-tip and put on skin blemishes and pimples, especially good on those big painful ones overnight. Wintergreen has similar chemical constituents to methyl salicylate. Which is a derivative of salicylic acid (aka aspirin, which is why it’s so awesome for tension!). Salicylic acid is also used in a lot of acne treatments.

PATCHOULI Add a few drops to toner for beautiful soft skin. Patchouli is a thick oil + hydrating. Which also makes it great for your hair and scalp. Patchouli also regenerating and has an anti-inflammatory effect and can be great for treating skin conditions such as dermatitis, acne, or dry, cracked skin. You can use Patchouli topically to improve the appearance of dry skin.
