Here is a important statement taken directly out of my colourful notebook. More sneak-peaks might be coming soon.. Edit: 'A color story' (APP) by one of my favourite blogs A Beautiful Mess. Not an advertisement, just a friendly compliment - cause the app just came out!

I'm on a new interesting journey to learn a more beautiful language. A better way to express myself. I heard a statement that changed the way I looked at words & the way I looked at my language. Our language. And gave me a longing to speak more life. A longing to speak more beautiful.

Life and death are in your tongue
— a lot of wise people

Where I live there is a lot of, not exactly swearing, but still not life-giving words either. Ever heard someone say: 'Oh that's SICK', when they actually talk about something they like or think is cool. Yeah, we've all been there right? Some of you might think I'm a bit sensitive or even over-dramatic, but if what that quote says is true - then I don't wanna be the one cursing my own life, when I actually could change my life to the better.. just by changing some words in my 'inner dictionary'. If you believe in the quote or not - I still don't think it would hurt anybody to speak more beautiful (and life-giving) than a lot of us do. I wanna make the world more beautiful and I've learned that if you wanna change the world then you've gotta start with yourself.

So whenever I stumble over a beautiful world. I will post a little something about it and hopefully inspire you too. I would love to hear what words you love, what words you think are beautiful. And if you've already walked a 'beautiful-language-journey' - PLEASE don't hesitate to share it. Maybe it will be featured here on the blog. I love stories! I love testimonies. So please, share yours!

So here's to a more beautiful word! A more beautiful language. Changing. One. Word. At. The. Time.
